They are used for the condensation of all refrigerant in refrigeration and air conditioning plants and, if properly selected, also for heat recovering. They mustn't be used in reversing cycle heat pump.
The CV type with copper tubes is suitable in both cooling tower and city water and cooling water.
The CVM type with CuNi 90/10 tubes is suitable in seawater.
